William oversees energy and engineering support for all operating divisions within EMCOR Services Betlem. William is focused on working directly with clients to identify, evaluate, design, and justify projects that meet a client’s business needs. William utilizes his practical experience and expertise in the industry to ensure that quality solutions are proposed and properly executed for Betlem’s clients. William’s industrial knowledge, problem solving ability and commitment to service excellence qualify him as an ideal director of project development.

William participates in EMCOR’s national construction and energy peer groups where he is able to share best practices across the company.

Expertise

William started his career in mechanical engineering in 1999 working for Guardian Industries. While at Guardian, William was able to develop a thorough understanding of industrial processes, building systems and construction management. William was able to manage and develop multi-million dollar projects while at Guardian including the reconstruction of a glass manufacturing facility in Webster, Massachusetts and the installation of a liquefied natural gas farm near Sao Paulo, Brazil. William also managed mechanical construction projects for Guardian in Toronto, Canada and Geneva, NY.

William’s experience has grown to provide energy analysis and design/build solutions for clients in the commercial, industrial, residential, health care, and educational sectors. William’s ability to leverage local, state and national incentive programs allows his customers to implement value-added concepts with minimal cost impact. William has maintained EMCOR Services Betlem’s strong presence as a NYSERDA FlexTech contractor while also helping Betlem qualify as a NYSERDA Multifamily Performance Partner, RGE/NYSEG Trade Ally and National Grid Energy Solutions Partner.

William earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Kettering University. He also earned his Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. William is a registered Professional Engineer (New York) and Certified Energy Manager (CEM).

William is an active member in the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) as well as the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). He is also a member of the Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) and New York State Gas and Electric (NYSEG) Trade Ally Advisory Committee and is on the buildings and grounds committee for Rochester Museum & Science Center.
