Rick Goodison is the Syracuse General Manager for EMCOR Services Betlem. Rick has overall responsibility for division P&L, sales, estimating, project management, engineering, fabrication, field operations, and training in the Syracuse and Central New York (CNY) commercial and industrial HVAC market.

Facilities Maintenance, Mechanical & Plant Engineering Expertise

Rick holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. He also attended Rochester Institute of Technology pursuing his Masters in Business Administration. His career in Plant Engineering and Facilities Maintenance started in 1975 as an Electrical Staff Engineer at Taylor Instruments Company. In 1981 he went to work for the Nalge Nunc International as a Plant Engineer. As Plant Engineer, Rick had sixty direct reports providing Maintenance service, construction and project management for a 300,000 square foot manufacturing facility producing plastic labware and medical products. In 2000 he joined Guardian Industries as the Plant Engineer. This responsibility included direction of a staff of seventy Facilities Maintenance and Engineering personnel for multiple plant locations throughout North America. Building Operations consisted of 900,000 square feet of manufacturing, producing 700 tons of flat glass daily. As an operating executive, he monitored operating expense and capital budgets including energy and utility contracts. Building and manufacturing capital investments exceeded $37 million dollars.

Rick joined EMCOR Services Betlem in 2010 as the General Manager for the Syracuse and Central New York operations.

Rick has a Certified Plant Engineer registration and has been an active member in the Association of Facilities Engineers (AFE).
